What has been your favorite baby shower food?
I’m planning a baby shower for the first time. What has been your favorite food at a shower? I’m thinking it will begin sometime between noon and two pm. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Finger Sandwiches with either tuna, egg salad, chicken salad, or ham and cheese for examples. Egg rolls, small sausages wrapped in the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, potato salad, macaroni salad.
I went to a baby shower not too long ago and instead of a cake, the hostess made cute decorated cupcakes with pink and blue paper cups and matching icing with sprinkles and a little boy or girl trinket on top. The mother-to-be was having twins (a boy and a girl) so it really turned out nice.

What are some ideas for baby shower food and snacks?
I am throwing my Mom a surprise baby shower and I need simple snacks and food that are tasty but easy to make.
admin answers:
Fruit, candies, chocolate candies, store bought cake, pre cut fruit you can just put into bowls, punches, juices, etc….
Also sandwiches – maybe laid out meats, bread, cheese, etc so people can build their own.

Ladies, what kinds of food did you or are you planning on having at your baby shower?
Ladies, what kinds of food did you or are you planning on having at your baby shower? My mom is throwing me a shower for my first child at the end of January & we are trying to figure out what kinds of food to have, she is making me a cake & cupcakes & we are trying to figure out main food. We had the idea of having fried chicken, salad, rolls, potato salad, chips, veggie tray & drinks. Does that sound like baby shower food?

I used catering by Chick-Fil-A since I only had 8 guests. It wasn’t very expensive actually for the amount of food and we had vegetable dip with bread and chips, sparkling cider, chicken wraps and chicken salad sandwiches, crackers with cheese and summer sausage and mini cheesecake dessert cups as well. My first idea was fried chicken and potato salad type of thing, but it ended up costing less for me to get sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A and they stayed good for longer when I had lots of leftovers.. Like another said, it’s really up to you, you can make it as high class or casual as you’d like!

Baby Shower food to make ahead of time?
I am traveling my plane with my then 7 month old to throw a baby shower for my sister.
I need to make the food the night before, because I will be juggling a lot of things at once.
Any ideas?

Tortilla rolls
in a bowl mix together the same amount of each ranch dressing and whipped cream cheese. Then toss in chopped green onions and red bell pepper. Spread onto a flour tortilla and then add a few thinly sliced slices of ham on top. Roll the tortilla up and cut into small slices
secure with a toothpick! So delicious and easy to make! Dont need to be refrigerated

Got any great baby shower food, decor or game ideas?
I am hosting a baby shower for my sister. She has been trying for a baby for 7 years, has suffered losses, and is finally due to have a baby in April. I want it to be very special. The theme is “Storybook”. She is a bookworm, so we’re basing the shower on children’s books. I need some ideas for food, decor, etc. Help!

You can do Dr sues theme food a veggie platter deli meat rolled up. Deviled eggs the veggie platter can be baby veggies like baby carrots. Cherry tomatoes celry witha veggie dip from knorrs. You can do little sandwiches. You can make ham roll ups with cream cheese and chopped green olives. Get spreadable cream cheese and chop up green olives mix together spread on ham and roll it up. Fruit punch and caffeine soda would be good. A Dr sues cake and you can go to party city and get Dr sues decor and make little paper books of his rimes. Or you can do mother goose theme. And get the theme from party city. Or any other party store.
