Okay there is not a whole lot out there. I found a site that is selling Snow White invites and party supplies….it looks more like a birthday set but I am sure it can be utilized in a way where no one will know. So there are your decorations…..or a start.

Cake: Cake America is a directory of all the cake makers (that have registered). You might want to check them out and see if you can find someone in your area that can craft a custom desert for you that is true to this theme. I am putting the website below. I also found another website that has “castle” decorating supplies for a plain white, two tier cake. That link is below as well!

More Decorations: Diaper Cake? I actually make these and would love to make one that was true to this theme. I do mostly custom work and haven’t found a theme I can’t stay true to, yet!! Simple would be a plush Snow White on top with 7 fashioned plaques circling the middle tier….each with a dwarf’s name (like the beds had their names carved into them). You could even do the diaper cake yourself….show off your CREATIVE side.

Recipes: You must feature apples. Apples should really be present on the buffet or menu. Look for menu items like stuffed apples…maybe even an Apple Pie?

Just a plain chocolate recipe from allrecipes.com, cream cheese frosting tinted blue, foam snow flakes from Michael’s and plastic snow flakes from the dollar tree.( The dollar tree has tons of winter stuff in right now:)

This type of baby shower is all about WHITE to emphasize the innocence of a newborn (angel). You could create so many great decorations for your shower with cotton batting (clouds), halos (go get some silver garland left over from Christmas that is on Clearence right now), HECK…go get TONS of angels that are on clearance right now at all the stores.

I believe that every baby deserves to be celebrated especially if it’s been a while since the last baby. My mother threw me a “sprinkle” for my second child which consisted of dispensable items such as diapers, wipes, lotions, etc and some clothing since I already had all the large items and they were still in good condition. I am in the process of preparing a shower for my best friends third son. She had several showers for her first son but since her second son came just 19 months after her first no one really did anything special for his arrival and she was disappointed that he wasn’t celebrated at all. I think it’s wonderful what you are doing for your best girl and I know she will really appreciate it.
