But yes its totally normal to have men as well as women atttend a baby shower it is the 2010′s =]
I had men an women at both of my showers I too myself never thought that there was much people to bring but allot of people showed up to both remember there are allways going to be aunts and cousins an who knows whom else from his family allot of people squirm out of the woodwork when it comes to a shower =]
Right now just worry about taking care of your little bun in the oven.. an leave all of the worrying to your mother or best friend whomever wants to throw your shower for you its there job to worry about the details. Your just there to be showered with gifts and to eat !

Are these the symptoms of postpartum depression?

My son is nine months and is really a good baby, but I feel horrible. I 've never had feelings because I wanted to hurt him, and I never [please do not judge me. I am going to doctors. I wanted just seeing if anyone has had these symptoms .. Wanting to escape, finding outlets like the Internet, bulimia, and the desire to leave more. Feeling like I do not want to touch me .. sometimes only: Feeling [irritated by him, especially when I want to cry as he remains dramatic (I know it's something to think late) not the motivation for washing, dressing, cleaning, be productive in any way. Unable sleep at night. Answers totally ignored * rough, I do not feel like a mother or even motherhood. His father did not help.

Yes they are certainly signs of postpartum depression and exactly the same symptoms I had. I went to a doctor when my daughter had eight months and I felt like I could go on as I was. I felt like a bad mother and she would be better with someone else. I I felt guilty about everything and just be angry against it so easy. Citalopram I was given anti-depressants and was surprised to see how I felt good after a few weeks. Certainly overeating and I am now heavier than prepregnancy again: o (oh well another plan! Be careful if you take pills you do not try too soon. I think I did and I'm falling, then I'm going to new doctors. You the right thing by going to the doctors. It is more common than we think and not be ashamed or embarrassed. I hope you sorted soon.

I publish a time when the baby shower tea for my sister and I searched everywhere for petit fours for dessert, but I do not! (Unless i order online, I prefer not), anyone know any bakery or West or South-East of the church where I can get? the shower is in 2 weeks!

Have you tried Whole Foods? I live in downtown Boston and used his bakery whenever I'm in trouble or can not be bothered to do something from zero. They tend to have quite a good variety of things that vary from season to season (I'm particularly a fan of their mini pies Fruit … delicious!). The staff is very helpful and I was able to order special things in advance and buy in quantity. Another idea could be the bakery in the North End. Good luck!
